Consultant/ Network Solution Architect (Professional Services)

Position OverviewThis role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions across the Asia region. By deeply understanding customer business challenges, you will deliver both standard and customized technical solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.Role ResponsibilitiesDesign optimal solutions based on customer requirementsLead technical proposals in response to RFPs in collaboration with sales and product teamsProvide technical support during presales and build customized solutionsSupport post-implementation issues with internal Tier 1/2 teamsDesign, build, and operate network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, cloud platforms)Plan and deliver technical workshops for customersHandle non-standard requirements through documentation and implementation planningManage technical escalations and customer approval processesCreate and update technical documents, designs, and operational guidesCollaborate cross-functionally within a global matrix organizationSkills and Experiences10+ years’ experience in IP network design and OperationsCCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)Solid understanding of the TCP/IP modelProven hands-on network engineering experienceExcellent communication skills and negotiation skillsFluent in Japanese language at both writing and speaking, with a strong understanding of local cultureBusiness level English at a level to be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholdersOther PreferencesA robust, dynamic self-starter with imagination and visionWilling to be flexible to get the work done and able to prioritize and plan time effectivelyAble to communicate clearly and concisely, including the ability to deliver difficult messages in a positive way,Have strong interpersonal skills and able to build a positive team culture in a global team and cross-cultural environment as well as a customer focused culture,Have commercial acumenResults-focused, efficient, and pragmaticAble to support a strategic vision and think globally with a strong sense for entrepreneurshipAble and willing to travel when required
