ConsultANZ is looking for 4x Construction Managers to join a leading civil contractor, managing long-term maintenance contracts across Auckland's transport and civil infrastructure sector. Main Duties: Oversee full project delivery across multiple civil and transport infrastructure projects. Coordinate planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Lead asphalt, roadworks, and pavement packages, particularly in live, urban environments. Drive client engagement and ensure all project milestones and KPIs are met. Monitor contract compliance, financial performance, and overall project health. Foster strong relationships with clients, councils, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Mentor and manage delivery teams across multiple locations. Represent the company in stakeholder meetings and contract performance reviews. Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent industry experience). Proven experience in civil infrastructure maintenance delivery—roading/highway experience highly desirable. Strong leadership, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills. 8–10+ years' experience in civil construction, ideally in urban/transport settings. Experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Operations Manager. Technical expertise in asphalt pavement and urban infrastructure. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Capability to manage multiple teams and deliver high-standard outcomes. Benefits: Salary:
