More information about Starburst can be found at www.starburst.aero.What will you be doing?ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll work at the core of our project teams. Together with a senior consultant, you’ll help drive the delivery of consulting (corporate & startup) and accelerator projects for corporate and institutional clients. You will lead analytical work, develop deliverables, and coordinate analysts, while supporting the senior team in client-facing activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Leading analytical work: conducting in-depth market research, company identification, technology scouting, and expert interviews for both consulting and accelerator projectsSupporting consulting workstreams: contributing to strategy definition for corporate clients, including market entry and go-to-market strategies, competitive landscape assessments, and business model developmentSupporting startup growth activities: contributing to product–market fit assessments, business development strategy, and fundraising preparation for startupsCollaborating with project teams: working closely with colleagues at all levels and across multiple European offices to ensure quality and timely delivery of outputsEngaging with industry stakeholders: interacting with startups, industry experts, investors, and corporate partners to gather insights that feed into analyses and strategic recommendationsDeveloping client deliverables: preparing structured presentations and reports for client meetings, including sessions with executive leadershipCoordinating activities and logistics: supporting the preparation and execution of client-facing events (e.g., workshops, Demo Days, and matchmaking sessions) and ensuring smooth internal communication and alignment across international officesGraduated from a well-ranked engineering or business schoolPrevious experience in startup environments, consulting, venture capital, or accelerator programsStrong personal interest and knowledge in aerospace innovationExcellent language, social, and communication skills in German & EnglishAbility to work independently and proven attention to detailEnthusiasm, curiosity, resourcefulness & motivation to work in a small and innovative teamEntrepreneurial spirit and open to an intercultural work environmentKnow how to use the latest business & productivity tools, as well as PowerPoint & Excel3 recruitment rounds with members of the consulting team and the innovation teama fit section (discussion about your background and your motivation to join us)a business case section (an oral case study exercise in a practical scenario)
