As part of the Services organization, you will use your extensive technical and consultative experience to define a vision to lead a Client from their current state to strategic solutions which achieve measurable and meaningful real-world outcomes to their business. You will work in lockstep with the sales team to communicate Mirantis vision, features, and value, and with the services team to ensure that the vision and outcomes are delivered to the Client. You will also work with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to understand product and offerings, and to provide feedback which will define enhancements to our solutions.The Consulting Architect position requires technical thought leadership and offers candidates opportunities for professional growth across a variety of business and technology domains. You will play a key role as an individual leader in the field and contribute internally to an organizational culture that deeply values transparency, performance, development, creativity, collaboration, and trust.ResponsibilitiesAct as the Client AdvocateDevelop and maintain strong relationships with client technical and business stakeholdersUnderstand client business objectives and translate them into technology outcomesParticipate in creating and maintaining long-term strategic account plansGather field intelligence and provide structured feedback to product, support, and services teamsServe as a Trusted Advisor and Technical LeaderOwn the technical relationship during the sales lifecycle, with a focus on delivering customer valueDrive the qualified (sales) engagement to a ‘Technical Win’ through tailored solutions and credible positioningUnderstand the relationship between the technical win and the critical role it plays in the client’s strategy, and Mirantis’ account planCoordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, PS Delivery, Product, CTO Office) to align Qualification, Strategy and executionLearn and stay current with relevant technologies (Cloud Native, Kubernetes, AI/ML, etc.) and actively share knowledge internally and externally (clients, partners, communities, events)Ensure continuity and technical oversight between presales and post-salesBe the Expert for Products and ServicesDemonstrate deep understanding of Mirantis products and services that create value for our clients and growth for MirantisDesign and develop solution demos (both vision-generation and technical proof), prototypes, reference architectures, and use cases to address customer challengesFoster cross-functional collaboration within Mirantis (Product, Support, Marketing, Services, etc.) to ensure a unified customer experienceCollaborate with the Solution Strategy Office to build solution designs and operationalize these for the field organization. Be opportunistic and take on ownership for Account & PartnerIdentify 2-3 identified accounts or partners where Mirantis could be doing more businessDrive engagement, build relationship and path to business outcomes visionQualifications5+ years experience in a Client-facing role as a consultant, architect, sales engineer, or similar.High School diploma or equivalent required, four year college degree preferredExperience working with senior leadership, especially IT and engineering leadership, offices of CIO and CTO.Hands-on proficiency with Linux, OpenStack VMware, Kubernetes, and related infrastructure products and projects.
