Job Description
For The primary purpose of this role is to drive achievement of sales objectives within the assigned territory, including Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Share of Market (SOM) targets. This position is responsible for executing strategic sales plans, developing and strengthening relationships with customers, distributors, and key fleets, while identifying new business opportunities. Acting as a trusted business consultant, the role delivers value-added solutions and supports brand positioning aligned with Goodyear’s marketing strategy. It also seeks opportunities to grow both sell-in and sell-out volume across the territory.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans, including product promotion, customer and distributor development, and prospecting, to consistently meet monthly sales targets across Consumer and/or Commercial lines.Create compelling business proposals that balance profitability for both the company and its customers.Monitor and ensure effective implementation of trade policies and dealer advertising, optimizing resources to drive sell-in and sell-out performance.Conduct competitive analysis within the assigned region, gathering insights on pricing, strategies, product trends, and promotions.Collaborate with distributors to coordinate and implement marketing strategies that expand market share.Lead and support the development of the sales force to enhance team capabilities and performance.Plan and manage demand forecasts based on territory dynamics and customer needs.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Administration, Business or relevant field.4+ years of experience within sales or related field.Desired: Experience with sales in the field, tires or consume goods sales is preferred.What Will Set You ApartStrong sales and marketing expertise with a focus on strategic planning and achieving targets.
