Job Description

Job purpose:The purpose of this role is to support the Consumer Business Unit by driving strong cost control and CapEx discipline under the strategic direction of the Consumer Finance lead. The position provides robust financial analysis and actionable insights to the three business units, ensuring budgets, forecasts, and investment decisions are aligned with profitability, cash flow, and return thresholds. It plays a key role in coordinating the Annual Budget and rolling forecast processes, rigorously challenging cost assumptions and monitoring execution across bmarkets. The role also reviews CapEx business cases, working capital utilization, and the company's rollout investments to ensure capital is allocated efficiently and in line with value creation objectives, reinforcing financial governance while enabling sustainable growth.ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed financial analysis to support margin improvement initiatives across Gross and EBITDA margins, including monitoring bundled ARPU performance and tracking content cost efficiency.Support content utilization analysis, cost projections, and optimization initiatives across platforms, and assist in the financial evaluation of content contract renegotiationsDevelop and maintain SAC (Subscriber Acquisition Cost) analysis, improving visibility of associated revenues and costs, and supporting the build-out of segment-level SAC P&Ls.support the financial tracking and return analysis of B2C CapEx projectsPrepare in-depth financial analyses to support strategic B2C business decisions, ensuring timely, accurate, and data-driven recommendations.Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, working closely with market finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency.Coordinate with FP&A analysts to ensure timely delivery of reports and analysis aligned with agreed objectives, providing day-to-day guidance where required.Provide financial support to Market leadership teams, including ad hoc analysis and performance tracking.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A processes, supporting automation, standardization, and reporting enhancements.Support the compilation and analysis of Financial and Operational KPIs, including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting and presentation materialsQualifications3-5 years of experience in telecommunications, financial services, or consumer driven industriesBachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fieldStrong analytical literacy considered an advantageProven experience in FP&A rolesStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI driven performance management at senior management levelDemonstrated experience preparing executive level performance reviews and decision support materialsExposure to cross functional coordination with Finance, BI, Commercial, and IT teamsExperience supporting or participating in strategic initiatives and transformation projectsHands on exposure to complex business systems and platforms from a business and financial perspectiveFunctional skills and abilities: Strong business partnering capabilities, with the ability to build effective working relationships across finance and commercial teams to support cost and investment governanceAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong analytical skills combined with solid interpersonal abilities, enabling collaboration across cross-functional teamsEffective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, structured, and audience-appropriate insightsDemonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis within a structured FP&A environmentAdvanced numerical proficiency and strong financial modeling skills, with attention to accuracy and detailAbility to support continuous process improvements, including reporting automation and enhancement of financial tools and templatesHigh level of self-motivation and ownership mindset, with the ability to take accountability for deliverables and follow through on commitmentsStrong sense of confidentiality, integrity, and professional trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial information
