Role : Content AnalystRole OverviewMercor is hiring experienced legal professionals to contribute to a structured data project focused on Ecuadorian legal and financial documentation. This project involves compiling and verifying publicly available legal content to support internal AI model testing and external product demonstrations.The role is well-suited for lawyers with litigation or corporate/transactional backgrounds who are capable of working independently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy. Work is fully remote, asynchronous, and short-term in nature.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect and organize publicly available legal and financial documents in line with established project guidelinesEnsure all compiled materials meet accuracy, completeness, and formatting standardsFollow structured documentation processes to maintain data qualityValidate sources to confirm public accessibility and legal complianceWork asynchronously with the project manager and meet all delivery deadlinesRequired Qualifications2–3 years of active legal practice experience in EcuadorPrior work in litigation or corporate/transactional lawStrong familiarity with Ecuadorian legal and regulatory document sourcesHigh attention to detail and ability to work within structured documentation requirementsStrong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environmentRole DetailsType: Part-time, hourly contractDuration: 2–3 weeks (project-based)Time Commitment: 10–20 hours per weekWork Mode: Fully remote and asynchronousCompensation: $50–$80 USD per hour (commensurate with experience)Payment Method: Weekly via Stripe ConnectLegal Engagement: Independent contractor role via Mercor
