Job DescriptionThe Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is an organisation established by theMonetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation formore efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTNorganises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, providesaccess to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potentialfor growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.We are seeking a Content Director responsible for driving GFTN’s content and researchstrategy, and thought leadership on a global scale that will impact the direction of the industry.You will lead the development of high-impact research products, shape and deliver GFTN’sglobal content vision across its forums and support strategic communications at the highestlevels of the organisation. This role is pivotal in defining GFTN’s intellectual footprint across financial markets and ensuring consistent, relevant, and world-class content delivery to our members, stakeholders, and the wider ecosystem.Research Leadership & StrategyLead the research team focused on producing thought leadership that shapes market trends, regional developments, and technology adoption in financial services.Ensure all research output reflects cutting-edge insights and practical value for a global financial audience.Global Forum Content StrategyLead, drive and execute the content strategy for all GFTN forums worldwide.Establish a consistent and scalable content development process that aligns across regions while maintaining local relevance.Recruit, mentor, and manage regional content leads and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.Content Marketing & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate closely with the Global Marketing Director to market GFTN’s research and content products through creative, multi-channel strategies.Maximise stakeholder engagement across global regions by ensuring messaging clarity, resonance, and visibility in the market.Requirements10+ years of proven experience in research leadership within financial services, consulting, or related industriesExperience in managing teams and building content or research propositions at a global levelDeep understanding of financial technology, market trends, and the strategic priorities of financial institutionsStrong understanding of AI tools, especially GenAI, and their applications in business contexts.Exceptional writing, communication, and editorial skills with experience in executive- level briefings and speechwriting.Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, including with C-suite and board-level executives.Commercial mindset with experience in developing and monetizing content/research products.Global or multi-regional experience in content/research strategy is desirable
