Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-tobe-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets. Job DescriptionThis role is based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands OfficeAs a Content Programming Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering engaging content for both in-person and online events. You’ll work closely with teams, speakers, and partners to create impactful experiences for our audiences.What You’ll Be DoingDeveloping Content ProgramsYou’ll collaborate with the content programming team to plan and deliver content for Fi Europe, Vitafoods Europe, and their webinar series. Your work will be guided by customer insights from past events and current market trends.Researching and Producing Editorial ProgramsYou’ll design and deliver educational programs that are validated, editorially sound, and tailored to audience needs. These programs will include paid-for and free-to-attend formats such as conferences, webinars, startup challenges, panel discussions, networking sessions, and workshops.Moderating and Hosting EventsYou’ll build strong relationships with speakers, craft engaging questions and scripts, and confidently moderate panel discussions at both online and in-person events. As an MC, you’ll ensure discussions flow seamlessly, keeping audiences engaged and informed.Acquiring SpeakersYou’ll identify, approach, and secure high-level industry speakers who can deliver valuable insights and relevant content for our audiences.Building PartnershipsYou’ll nurture relationships with key industry players, including associations, startups, and food and nutrition companies, to enhance the quality and reach of our content.Managing BudgetsWith guidance from the Head of Content Programming, you’ll ensure your programs are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards.QualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience2–3 years of experience in content production or research, ideally within the food and nutrition industry.Experience in corporate events, trade shows, conferences, or in-person content production is a bonus, but not essential.SkillsOutstanding English writing and communication skills; additional languages are a plus.Strong presentation skills with confidence in public speaking.A keen eye for detail and accuracy.Ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Personal AttributesSelf-driven and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.Open to traveling as needed.Why Join Us?At Informa, you’ll get the chance to work on exciting projects, collaborate with industry experts, and make a meaningful impact.
