The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in journalistic principles and a passion for creating engaging educational content. This role involves writing and editing eLearning courses, leveraging AI tools and software, and ensuring that all deliverables meet our internal quality standards and performance metrics.Key ResponsibilitiesManage each course project from start to finish, including writing scripts and applying required revisionsDevelop and maintain detailed project timelines and schedules to ensure on-time deliveryMaintain ongoing communication with senior editors throughout the script development processOrganize and manage all course documentation and version control for course materialsUse Gen AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to support research, content development, and enhancement, ensuring factual accuracy and proper citationCreate, review, and edit course content in American English for clarity, conciseness, and engagementDevelop engaging scripts for video and audio content, incorporating storytelling techniques tailored to different learning stylesEnsure all course materials meet company standards for quality, training effectiveness, and alignment with the required topic outlinesSubmit polished, error-free content on time with minimal revisions requiredMeet monthly KPIs related to content output, quality metrics, and project completionCollaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders through clear, consistent communicationStay current with evolving technologies and learning platforms, showing a commitment to continuous improvementMaintain organized digital files and course assetsRequired Experience And SkillsDegree in English, English Writing and Grammar, English Journalism, or relevant educationMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in content writing, journalism, educational writing, or related fields Mastery of American English grammar, punctuation, and usageDemonstrated experience in American English proofreading, editing, and content writingStrong attention to detail across both written and visual elementsProven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google Suite, Grammarly, and Gen AI tools like ChatGPT or GeminiExcellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks, adapt to shifting deadlines, and consistently meet goalsFamiliarity with professional style guides; experience with the AP Stylebook is strongly encouragedExperience writing or editing long-form content (5,000+ words), such as course scripts or instructional modules, is strongly encouragedScheduleMonday - Friday: 02:00 AM PST - 11:00 AM PSTBenefitsPaid time off and a supportive team environment.Opportunities for professional growth through access to training materials and company courses.Join Our TeamIf you're driven by curiosity, eager to tackle challenges, and ready to make an impact in the fast-evolving E-Learning space, we'd love to hear from you.
