To learn more, visit www.sealedair.com.Continuous Improvement Manager EMEASealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions that protect essential goods transported worldwide, preserve food, enable e-commerce and digital connectivity, and help create a global supply chain that is touchless, safer, less wasteful, and more resilientThis role is responsible for applying continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies across several plants and acts as a lean champion, driving Lean-Enterprise culture throughout the EMEA food organization.Based around Epernon (France) with up to 50% travel cross EMEA food plants.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement Lean within the Manufacturing and Supply chain organizationDrive & manage follow-up of multiple projects at different production Sites (CTO Cost TakeOut projects)Provide intensive training for production teams and culture change within the organizationTeach, demonstrate and Coordinate Lean implementation and activities on the shop floor such as Kanban, Material Conveyance, Production flow, Super Market design and deployment, Value Stream Mapping, Takt time analysis, Problem-Solving, Standardized work, Set-up reduction, 6S, Visual Workplace, and Error-Proofing, 6S, TPM, SMED/QCO, Visual Factory, Kaizen, Scheduling, etc.Ensure consistency of Lean methods Assist plant Lean teams in sustaining gains achieved in Lean efforts. Support management team in identifying and implementing best practices Contact for overall Lean improvement plan development and implementation Lead Kaizen events as and where neededPerforming “Deep Dive” analysis into operational issues to find root causes alone and in partnership with plant resources including engineering and PILsFacilitate Plant to Plant sharing of best practices. Provide insight to senior leadership for operational improvement opportunities. Own tactical and strategic projects for plants and regions. Gather and focus resources to own and resolve operational challenges. Own and support best practice sharing forums. Perform ad hoc data pulls and analysis using SAP, PowerBI, and various support programsYour ProfileWe need a 100% dedicated experienced Lean Manager who is hands-on and has strong experience in production management with Lean implementation.We are looking for a leader with a strong personality, who is able to convince the organization to do the move toward LeanAdvanced Training in Lean methodologies, 6S, SMED, VSM, Kaizen and other continuous improvement methodologiesExpertise in Lean is required (Black Belt / Master Black Belt is a plus)Good understanding of financial measurements and goals in the Lean/Flow through-put worldProcess improvement experience with demonstrated successful results driven applicationDemonstrated success in leading and driving sustained change on the shop floorExperienced in training, facilitating, and coaching of Lean concepts to all levels of an organizationHas led/participated/directed 50+ kaizen events on the shop floor and the ability to regularly work on the manufacturing floor and outside.High English language skillsRequisition id: 51286Relocation: YesSealed Air is committed to attracting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects the diversity of the communities and customers we serve.
