The opportunityFor this position, we are seeking a candidate with strong digital expertise who can independently design and implement new processes from the ground up.At our Competence Centre 'Power Converter Solutions,' we hold a leading position in developing, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning high-power electronic converters, focusing on STATCOMs, Rail Power Supply Converters, and static frequency converters for industrial applications. Our expertise also extends to providing power converters for hydro pump storage stations. How You’ll Make An ImpactLead and support Lean Six Sigma (L6S) projects to improve process efficiency, quality, and customer satisfactionIdentify automation opportunities and develop solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced automation toolsDesign and implement dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decisions (understanding of different data types)Collaborate with stakeholders to map, analyse, and optimize business processesPromote a continuous improvement mindset across the organization through training, coaching, and best practice sharingSupport digital transformation initiatives aligned with strategic business goalsYour backgroundBachelor’s or Master’s degree in EngineeringMin. 5 years experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or digital transformation rolesStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) and advanced automation tools (e.g. Power Automate Desktop)Solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt or higher preferred)Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, and change managementProven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong working relationships and effectively communicate with cross-functional teamsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsFluent in English, German is beneficialMore About UsOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
