Nurol İnşaat is a subsidiary of Nurol Holding A.Ş.We are seeking a Contract Chief to join our highway project in Romania.General Qualifications:Graduate of the Faculty of Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering) with at least 10 years of experience in contract management or related positions,Experience in contract administration with Employers and Subcontractors,Experience in international highway projects,Proven background in Lump Sum Turnkey, Unit Price, Design & Build, EPC, PPP, and similar domestic and international construction projects tendered under public and private procurement regulations,Experience in preparing and implementing contracts for Subcontractors, Designers, Service Providers, and Suppliers involved in the Company’s construction projects,Preferably experienced in progress payments, Subcontractor/Supplier Management, Variations, and Claims, either on-site or at the head office,Ability to review work schedules, progress reports, and payment requests in line with contractual requirements,Responsible for preparing claims, variation orders, addenda, and supplementary agreements with the Employer,Skilled in correspondence with the Employer, Consultant, and Subcontractors as part of contract management,Familiar with international contract management standards (such as FIDIC),Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word); SAP knowledge is an advantage,Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,Willing to travel and able to adapt to an intensive and dynamic work environment,Job Description:As part of the Company’s Highway Project in Romania:Actively manage the Main Contract signed with the Employer(s) within the Project Management Organization, ensuring that all contractual actions are taken promptly regarding critical issues, claims, time limits, and potential penalties.Prepare schedules and tracking tables and issue Contractual Progress and Status Reports to be monitored by both the site and head office.Prepare subcontractor and supplier contracts and their appendices in accordance with Company procedures and standard formats; deliver contracts to relevant parties; conduct negotiations following Company policies; review modification requests; report contractual risks to Project Management and the Contracts Directorate; ensure all contracts are properly executed in approved formats.Ensure correct implementation of executed subcontractor and procurement contracts; prepare addenda and protocols; and ensure the use of standard templates for stages such as provisional and final acceptance. Provide the required documentation to project sites accordingly.Maintain coordination between Project Management and the Head Office Contracts Directorate on all contractual matters. Collect input from the Project’s Financial and Administrative Groups, Construction Teams, Technical Office, Project Management, and the Contracts Directorate to ensure contract compliance with Company procedures.Prepare various types of contracts as required by the project and submit them for approval to the Head Office Contracts Directorate.Within the scope of contract management, ensure timely handling of correspondence with the Employer, Consultant, and Subcontractors by gathering the necessary information from relevant departments (Technical Office, Construction Group, HSE–Quality, Financial and Administrative Affairs, Head Office Contracts Directorate, etc.) and preparing the required documentation.Obtain and coordinate input from consulting firms (contractual, legal, financial, etc.) as needed for the project to ensure effective and timely contributions.Oversee the execution of project-related insurance matters such as Construction All Risk, Employer’s Liability, Professional Liability, and similar policies.Ensure that all activities and approval processes are carried out in accordance with Company procedures at both head office and project site levels.
