Our work sits at the intersection of accounting, data analytics, and real-world problem solving — helping clients quantify and present financial outcomes with confidence.About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Commercial Accountant / Analyst to join us on a short-term contract (initially two months, with potential extension) to support our team with data analysis, financial modelling, and forensic accounting projects.You’ll be working closely with the Director to:Analyse client data sets across production and financial reportsBuild and refine detailed financial models to assess business performance, losses, and scenario outcomes.Conduct forensic accounting analysis using large datasets, identifying patterns, anomalies, and key financial drivers.Interpret and present findings clearly in a commercial context — supporting written reports and client deliverables.Collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure outputs are robust, logical, and well-communicated.About YouYou’re a seasoned finance professional who enjoys getting deep into the numbers and delivering insights that matter. You’ll bring:10+ years of hands-on Excel experience — expert-level capability with large datasets, formulas, pivots, and advanced modelling logic (essential).A strong background in commercial finance, management accounting, or forensic analysis (essential).Sound understanding of business performance metrics and financial statements (essential).Experience working in manufacturing and primary production sectors (preferred).Strong knowledge of standard cost accounting principles (preferred).CPA/CA qualification (preferred).Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate complex data in a clear, professional manner (essential).Contract DetailsFull-time 2-month contract, with potential renewal based on performance.$75/hour + $8,000 bonus for meeting performance targets.Immediate start, reporting directly to the Director.Flexible working arrangements available.
