Contract & Commercial Manager

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Contract and Commercial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employer and subcontractor contracts, overseeing tender processes, and ensuring compliance with agreements throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients and subcontractors.Oversee the tender process, including preparation, submission, and evaluation of bids.Ensure all contractual obligations are met and address any issues that arise during project execution.Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress and financial performance.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, and correspondence.Liaise with legal counsel to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding contract interpretation and commercial matters.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, FIDIC red book and procurement processes, and commercial negotiations.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office
