At Kuehne+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine.‎As a Planning & Control Employee you are responsible for creating, monitoring and optimizing the operational planning within both our automated and conventional warehouse environments. You ensure efficient deployment of personnel and resources aligned with the workload. Using forecast data historical trends and real-time information you make informed decisions. You continuously coordinate with internal departments such as operations, customer service and transport to ensure smooth processes.How you create impactCreate daily and weekly schedules for order picking and staffing in both automated and conventional environmentsCoordinate and execute pallet dispatches in the automated warehouse taking into account operational workload and booked time slotsAnalyze bottlenecks in planning and operational processes and propose improvementsOptimize planning processes through automation and digital tools in collaboration with IT and operationsSupport the development and implementation of dashboards and reports for capacity planning and performance monitoringAct as the point of contact for planning-related questions and guide colleagues in using planning systemsWhat we would like you to bringMinimum HBO-level education preferably in logistics supply chain or business administrationExperience with operational planning in both automated and conventional warehouse settingsStrong analytical skills and proficiency in ExcelExcellent planning organizational and accuracy skillsFluent in Dutch and English both spoken and writtenProactive pragmatic and able to gain support from various stakeholdersAvailable for 40 hours per week possibly in a three-shift systemWhat's in it for youAt Kuehne+Nagel, you’re not just starting a new job — you’re joining a global leader in logistics where your work has real impact.
