What The Role IsThe role is for Contracts Manager to procure and manage construction and construction related projects.What You Will Be Working OnYou will procure the services of consultants and contractors for HDB's new development, upgrading, infrastructure and related projects and subsequently manage the contracts including the processing of payment claims, administering the submission of certificates/warranties/agreements, monitoring of project expenditure and preparing cash flow projection for budget control. You will also oversee the works of private Quantity Surveying (QS) consultants during design, tender, construction and post construction stages including setting and managing of project cost budget, calling of tenders, evaluation and timely award of tenders, obtaining approval for variation works, monitoring and checking of valuation of variations and project final accounts prepared by the QS consultants. You will also provide procurement and contractual advice and cost estimates for feasibility studies.You may also be exposed to the entire procurement cycle from pre-tender planning, tendering and approval process, contracts management and post-contract administration for ICT projects.What We Are Looking ForYou should possess a background in Building, Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, or a related discipline. You should have strong communication and writing skills and be able to work effectively in a team. You should preferably have at least 5 years of relevant working experience.Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
