Success in this role means not only delivering outstanding contractual outcomes but also nurturing talent within your team and championing continuous improvement at every stage.Lead the contract management function for non-construction services contracts with an emphasis on high-value, high-risk, and strategically significant agreements.Oversee all stages of the contract lifecycle including planning, establishment, performance management, and close-out to ensure strict compliance with governance frameworks.Manage and support a team comprising Senior Contract Management Advisor and Contracts Advisors by setting clear KPIs, guiding professional development, and ensuring consistent delivery of quality outcomes.Provide quality assurance and oversight of all contract-related activities to guarantee alignment with organisational strategy and regulatory requirements.Support audit preparation processes by maintaining accurate contract documentation and ensuring adherence to public sector audit standards.Develop and maintain robust contract management systems, templates, and reporting tools that facilitate effective governance, risk mitigation, and informed decision-making.Monitor contract performance metrics closely, report on compliance issues or risks as they arise, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of responsibility.Oversee conflict of interest processes in accordance with public sector standards while proactively managing contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation skills, and positive influence to achieve shared goals.Work diligently within established policies, procedures, and safety requirements while embodying organisational values such as respect, honesty, curiosity, collaboration, and accountability.What You BringTo excel as Contracts Manager in this prominent infrastructure environment, you will bring substantial experience managing complex service contracts—ideally within the public sector or similarly regulated industries—where your attention to detail ensures every agreement meets both operational needs and compliance obligations.
