As our partnerships with the NHS and other commissioners continue to expand, we are strengthening our Contracts function to ensure we deliver safe, efficient and high-performing services.About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-focused and highly organised Contracts Officer to support the administrative and operational management of our NHS contracts. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and progress into Contracts Management, as you will work closely with the Head of Contracts and gain exposure to the full contract lifecycle. You will help maintain accurate records, track contractual requirements, prepare performance data, and support effective communication with NHS stakeholders — building the foundations needed for future growth within the Contracts function.Key ResponsibilitiesContract AdministrationMaintain accurate contract documentation and records.Support the Head of Contracts in ensuring contractual obligations are tracked and met.Support with scheduling and coordinating contract review meetings, and attend in the absence of the Head of Contracts or if needed.Assist in identifying risks, challenges, or discrepancies within contracts.Data Collection and ReportingCollate and organise contract performance data for reporting.Assist in preparing performance reports for management and client review meetings.Support analysis of trends by providing accurate data sets.Work with RTN’s Data Analyst to assist in any inputting or preparation of data upon request.Client Relationship SupportProvide administrative support for communications with NHS ICB representatives or other clients/commissioners.Log and track contract-related queries and escalate where required.Help maintain a positive client experience by ensuring timely responses to routine queries, as well as communicating with internal teams to ensure teams are aware of what is necessary for the delivery of the contract.Compliance and GovernanceEnsure contract records are compliant with NHS standards and RTN policies.Support the Head of Contracts with monitoring GDPR and data protection requirements.Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.Support the Head of Contracts in keeping the contracts risk register up to date.RTN ValuesOur values — Respect, Transformation and Nurture — guide how we work and how we care for the people who use our services.
