We are part of the Hinduja Tech organization and are expanding our footprint into North Africa and Tunisia.Role DescriptionWe are This is a full-time role for a Control Engineer working from our office in Tunis (Tunisia). The Control Engineer will be responsible for process control, electrical engineering, troubleshooting, motion control, and robotics. The position is located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area with the flexibility for some work from home.Minimum QualificationsApplication of Physics Based Modelling and Model Based SW DevelopmentElectrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering skills (vehicle powertrain)Experience in modern and classical control strategies with a powertrain subsystem application (engine, transmission, electric motors, thermal, charging, etc.)Troubleshooting skills (DFMEA and failure analysis)System requirements decomposition and powertrain function analysisExperience in SW development and SW integration using MATLAB/SimulinkExperience in system integration, testing and simulation (MIL, SIL, HIL)Excellent problem-solving abilities using process driven methodologiesStrong communication and collaboration skillsProficient in English and FrenchBachelor's degree in engineering or related field with a focus on SW and Controls SystemPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or PHD in EngineeringExperience with vehicle powertrain and system design experienceExperience with vehicle development cycle and change management processKnowledge on automotive sensors and actuatorsExperience with automotive tools (Vector, ETAS, DOORs)
