Job Title: Control TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Control Technician to join our team, where 60% of your role will involve hands-on troubleshooting, with the remainder focused on programming or system design. Your primary focus will be on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic, PLC, and robotic equipment within our facility. You will also engage in programming, calibration, testing, and installation of such equipment.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot faulty equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and perform corrective actions to restore working condition.Maintain and repair PLCs, VFDs, vision systems, sensors, communication networks, control panels, and other control-related equipment and components.Program PLCs, VFDs, servos, and HMIs as required.Install, test, and calibrate electronic components in systems and control panels.Assist with major issues by acting as the on-site hands and eyes for a remotely connected OEM.Update schematics when changes are made.Develop a deep understanding of the plant’s equipment ladder programming.Become the industrial control expert and go-to resource in the plant.Perform all duties with diligence and attention to detail.Essential SkillsPLC troubleshooting, with a focus on Rockwell components.General industrial manufacturing experience.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical degree in industrial controls/PLC or equivalent education/experience.1-3 years of relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.Practical experience and working knowledge of Rockwell components and software, such as RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, and PanelBuilder.Work EnvironmentThis role offers two positions: one for the Day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and one for the Night shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM.
