Zanesville, OH $90-100K | OnsiteClient in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Controller to assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and strategic decision support for plant operationsAbout Our ClientIndustry leader specializing in high-quality manufacturing and production solutions Focused on innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement Offers opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams Committed to employee growth and professional development Exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact on plant performance and profitability Responsibilities Of The ControllerThe Controller will oversee month-end close, including entries and reporting packages for the plant The Controller will provide detailed analysis of KPIs to help management track performance Maintain and analyze standard costs, variances, and inventory activity Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes Partner with operational teams to identify trends and drive process improvements Analyze product margins, sales performance, and profitability to support strategic goals Preferred Qualifications For The ControllerBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Strong Excel and ERP system experience Proven ability to analyze financial data and communicate insights effectively Experience with cost accounting or standard costing is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
