Since 2002, CSN has grown to become the leader in collision repair with 350+ collision repair centers across Canada, USA and Italy.Position Overview:CSN is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Controller to oversee the financial operations of our corporately owned collision centres in Canada. The Controller will manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for both our existing shops and new locations as we continue to grow. The Controller will build and lead a high performing accounting team to manage the accounting and financial reporting. They will play a key role in our corporate owned shops. They will report directly to the Senior Manager, Finance and support strategic initiatives across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full-cycle accounting function, including AP, AR, general ledgerManage month-end/year-end close processes for all corporate and shop locationsManage HST submissions and payments along with corporate tax installmentsLead and mentor a team of accounting professionals junior and senior level staff Oversee financial reporting, preparing accurate and timely statements, management reports, and KPIs to support decision-makingImplement and maintain standardization of accounting processes at the shop level and transferring data into the centralized accounting systemAssist with the transition of standard shop level management system as it affects the accounting for the shopsAssist with the standardization and transitioning of the accounting for the corporately owned shops to Microsoft Dynamics ERP systemDevelop, implement, and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)Coordinate and support external financial audits, tax audits, tax filings, and regulatory complianceMonitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize financial performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with the head office accounting team, operations, HR, and procurement to provide financial guidance for key initiativesIdentify process improvements and efficiencies across accounting and finance functionsRequirementsQualifications:CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting designation requiredAdvanced degree ( MBA) preferred7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3-5 years in a managerial or controller roleStrong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE), corporate compliance, and tax regulationsExperience leading multi-site accounting teamsExperience implementing an ERP system an asset Proficient in ERP systems, advanced ExcelExperience with collision centre management system an asset (i.e. Nexsyis or similar)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsBenefitsA dynamic and collaborative corporate environmentOpportunity to lead and build a high-performing MSO Accounting teamProfessional growth and development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation, bonus and benefits packageThe chance to have a meaningful impact on a growing organizationCareer PathAs CSN continues to expand, there will be many opportunities that develop.
