In this position you will be responsible for the overall accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, etc.What You Will DoOversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectivesOversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.Assist with the annual audit and the tax preparation processesAllocate partnership income and expensesIntra-company allocations and transfersMaintain capital account balances and records for many limited partnershipsPayroll and Payable allocation and processingExpense reimbursement and credit card charge allocationCash managementBanking relationship managementManage incoming and outgoing domestic and international wiresLead monthly close process to issue timely (monthly, quarterly, annual) and complete financial statements in accordance with GAAP,monitoring and assessing on-going internal process to push for efficiencyautomation and accuracy of financial management and financial systems.Assisting with external audits and completion of the company's tax filings.Facilitating the driving of accounting initiatives and a variety of financial analyses and special projects.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting/Finance requiredSolid accounting and SOX knowledgeThorough understanding of GAAP, Internal Controls, Operation Risk Assessment, and Financial ReportingCurrent or previous "Big 4" background strongly preferred3–5 years of accounting experienceExperience with Deltek and cost point strongly preferredThorough understanding of GAAP, Internal Controls, Operation Risk Assessment, and Financial ReportingManufacturing Industry experienceSolid knowledge of Manufacturing Cost AccountingKnowledge of Government Accounting and working with Federal contractsKnowledge of Corp.
