Kenowa Builders is a locally owned residential building company specializing in high-end remodeling and custom homes. We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding customer service, and strong community relationships. Position SummaryThe Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations across both residential construction and property management. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, construction draw requests, and month-end close assistance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple entities. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts regularly. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reporting. Monitor budgets and job costs for construction projects. Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reviews. Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and budget adherence. Support additional accounting projects and tasks as needed. QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of accounting experience Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. QuickBooks Online experience strongly preferred. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Job Type: Part-timeSchedule: FlexibleLocation: Office-based BenefitsIRA with employer match Health insurance Paid time off Experience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
