Job Description: The Accounting & Treasury Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, treasury activities, and billing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role includes supervising a third-party accounting provider and coordinating with internal stakeholders to maintain financial integrity, liquidity, and operational efficiency.The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage external partners effectively, ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, manage customer and supplier invoicing, and provide timely and accurate financial information to management. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Supervision Oversee the work of the third-party accounting provider to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries. Audit experience Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared by the third-party provider. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accuracy. Coordinate the accounting close process with the Controller, ensuring deadlines are met. Billing & Invoicing Manage invoicing processes for clients and suppliers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables. Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of invoices with accounting records. Payments & Treasury Management Prepare and execute payments to suppliers, vendors, and other parties in compliance with company policies. Supervise cash management activities, including cash positioning and bank reconciliations. Monitor liquidity and ensure adequate funding for operational needs. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations for treasury operations. Manage banking relationships in coordination with Finance Director. Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure timely reporting of accounting, treasury, billing, and payment data to management. Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting. Maintain accurate documentation and controls for internal and external reviews. Identify and implement process improvements and policies to increase efficiency, accuracy, and control. Team & Vendor Management Supervise the performance of the third-party accounting team, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with company standards. Act as the primary liaison between the external provider and internal Finance team. Ensure clear communication, follow-up on pending items, and resolution of discrepancies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in accounting, treasury, and billing, ideally in a supervisory role. Experience managing third-party providers or external accounting teams. Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
