Job Description

We are looking for you! We are currently seeking an expert Controller to join our new Allianz project in Portugal to deliver strategic financial insights, performance analysis, and forecasting that drives leadership decision-making and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary expert for all controlling and financial matters within the organizationStrategically manage P&L performance and implement sophisticated cost optimization measuresOrchestrate and drive the annual planning process with precision and foresightDesign and maintain advanced monthly financial forecasting models to enhance decision-makingConduct comprehensive variance analysis between historical results and forecasts to identify trends and opportunitiesOversee complex cost center controlling and financial processes through meticulous time and cost trackingProvide expert management of service provider contracts, including end-to-end process handlingArchitect and implement innovative controlling tools and procedures to drive operational excellenceDeliver insightful financial reports and compelling presentations for executive leadershipCollaborate effectively with international stakeholders, ensuring consistent application of global best practices and standardsKey requirements: Expert-level experience in Controlling within an international environmentUniversity degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fieldExpert knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel (advanced dashboards, pivot tables, complex financial formulas) and PowerPointComprehensive understanding of SAP modules (CO, FI, BO, BW)Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageousStrategic entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and drive initiativesProactive approach and high engagement in dynamic controlling environmentsStrong sense of ownership with excellent stakeholder management capabilitiesExceptional analytical skills with ability to quickly interpret complex financial dataMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAdvanced organizational abilities and effective time managementResilient under pressure with capacity to manage challenging deadlinesOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within international teamsSelf-confident presentation style with senior leadershipAdaptable team player who thrives in multicultural environmentsAllianz Services | Full-Time | PermanentAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
