This location of this role is flexible across Latam within in a country with significant ADAMA operating presence including Argentina, Columbia or Mexico. We have an exciting career opportunity for a Regional Controlling Manager to lead all accounting, treasury and tax activities for the region.  As part of our Global Finance Transformation, we are establishing a regional controlling Center of Expertise that will be directly responsible for all accounting as well as treasury and tax activities for the countries in the region. Working closely with the Global Controlling Manager, this role will lead the project of establishing this function from a regional perspective, including defining the country support model, mapping the current state and establishing aligned work processes according to global standards, as well as training and managing the teams. The ideal candidate for this role will have deep subject matter expertise in accounting as well as experience in tax and treasury. They will be a people leader, relationship builder, with process thinking and strong service orientation.  Role SummaryWorking with the Global Controlling Manager, establish and manage controlling policies, processes and activities for controlling operations in the region to ensure compliance & accuracy to meet local requirements across the regional countries.Drive consistency in accounting, tax and treasury practices across the region & ensure change control procedures for financial master reference data.Lead the regional statutory reporting teams in the countries and exercise oversight of all accounting & external financial reporting matters for ADAMA in the region, ensuring timely and accurate report preparation, and compliance with global and local accounting policies & ADAMA’s corporate governance requirements, including oversight of external audits.Work with Global Tax & Global Treasury to oversee compliance with local tax reporting across the region in order to maximize cashflow.Implement group internal controls in the regional countries. Manage the Regional Controlling team, including responsibility for hiring, motivating & developing the professional skills of the team by creating an environment of regular feedback and generating teamwork and a positive, cooperative environment.Reporting RelationshipsReports to (solid line): Regional Head of Finance Reports to (dotted line): Global Controlling ManagerDirect Reports: Country Controlling Teams Key RelationshipsRegional Head of FinanceRegional CU Finance Business Partners Global Controlling ManagerGlobal Head of Controlling and AccountingCorporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury departments Membership of Regional Finance Leadership Team Skills, Experience, EducationSkills & Experience10-15 years of experience in accounting & deep knowledge of IFRS.
