We deliver 29 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents.The RoleYou will provide nutritional meals that meet dietary needs for all the children in the Punchbowl Children’s Centre.Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited ToEnsure the Customer Experience is delivered in line with the Centres Customer Service CharterPrepare menus using the nutrition checklist for menu planning and reviewed by NSW HealthCommunicate with Centre Director regarding menu planningDisplay menus for families in a timely mannerPlan menus for children's meals that meet nutritional standards and dietary requriementsOrder sufficient food/ingredients for all children in the centre and monitor wasteFollow food safety guidelines to preapare meals for childrenBe aware of allergies & anaphylaxis. For a full list of duties, click HERE to review the position description.You Will HaveCurrent Food Handling CertificateAll current and relevant food handling/food safety training and hygeince practicesWorking with Children CheckEnthusiasm, initiative and an ability to work autonomously and within a team. Experience in preparation of meals for large numbers of peopleSound knowledge of Food HandlingSound knowledge of Australian Dietary Guidelines.The salary range for this opportunity commences at $62,026 pro-rata (Grade B, Step 1) + 12% super.
