Reporting to the Director, Events and Sponsorships, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in the coordination, planning and execution of a diverse range of events.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate complex virtual, hybrid, and in-person meetings and eventsAssist with the coordination of sponsorships and donations, handling approvals, invoicing, and internal trackingLiaise directly with lawyers and key stakeholdersManage event logistics for smaller scale events, including venue and vendor sourcing, budgeting and registrationCreate and distribute event invitations, reminders and thank-you emailsAssist with event collateral and presentationsResearch and manage client gifts and promotional merchandiseSupport firm season-ticket allocation and hospitality suitesContribute to weekly and quarterly event reportsHandle event-related expenses with accountingPerform additional tasks as neededQualificationsCertificate in event management and/or bachelor’s degree preferred2-3 years of event assistance or coordination experience in a professional settingAn enthusiastic team player capable of working in a precise, fast-paced environmentHighly organized and detail orientedEffective communicator with strong problem-solving skillsFamiliar with new technology, event platforms and local eventsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, HTML, Adobe InDesign, and IllustratorAbility to work overtime, as requiredTo ApplyFor more information or to submit your application, please email recruitment@dwpv.com.We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.Davies is committed to providing a diverse, inclusive and accessible workplace for candidates and firm members with disabilities.
