We are seeking talented individuals who support our vision and strategic plan that encompasses "A Culture of Excellence in ALL We Do."See attachment on original job postingEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION • Master's degree in Education or a related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation. • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a teacher or special education related service provider such as a school psychologist or speech pathologist. • K-12 teaching/coaching/administrative experience as a special education administrator at a district, SELPA or County Office or as a general education administrator supporting special education students is preferred. • Experience working with adult learners; familiarity with best practices in training and/or coaching adults. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: Must hold a valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility AND one of the following: • A valid Teaching Credential - Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Education Specialist • A Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential • A Pupil Personnel Services CredentialAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Interested, qualified persons are invited to submit an online employment application. WORKING CONDITIONS: Environment: Is subject to inside environmental conditions; subject to driving/traveling to sites to conduct work; May be required to attend periodic evening meetings and/or to travel within and out of District boundaries to attend meetings; May be required to work evenings or weekends. Physical Abilities: Perform work that is primarily sedentary; sitting for extended periods of time, hearing and speaking to communicate and exchange information, walking, seeing to observe accuracy of reports and documents, and dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment.
