On behalf of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, we are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Fund Controlling team. A dynamic, high-performing, and diverse team responsible for the controlling and financial analysis of funds in both Denmark and Luxembourg. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the financial backbone of a global leader within green infrastructure investments, while also growing into a more strategic and project-oriented role over time. You will report directly to Head of Fund Controlling and be based at CIP’s headquarters in Copenhagen in a team of six people.
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial controlling and reporting of several funds. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Quarterly closing in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlinesQuarterly controlling of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling, Intercompany reconciliation etc.
Developing, implementing, and facilitating initiatives to improve closing processes and procedures across the fundsEnsuring correct accounting treatment on various topics in accordance with IFRSPoint of contact for local service providers responsible for finance and corporate mattersCollaborating with external auditors on annual auditing processLeading and advising the analyst in the teamFinance Professional with experience We are looking for a finance professional with a strong academic background and relevant work experience.
You are expected to hold a master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing, Accounting, or a related field, and bring at least three years of experience within finance, accounting, or controlling. This experience may come from a similar role or from a Big 4 audit firm. You should be confident within the core areas of financial controlling and have a strong theoretical understanding of IFRS. Practical experience with process management and exposure to fund structures will be an advantage. You are comfortable working in Excel and ERP-systems, and prior experience with Business Central is considered a plus.
