Influence and learn from top strategic customers worldwide, helping them become frontier firms and achieve unparalleled success with Microsoft Copilot and intelligent agents.As a Copilot Solution Engineer, you partner with customers to cocreate their agentic and frontier AI journey, influencing decisions towards Microsoft Copilot technologies. You accelerate digital transformation through Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the broader ecosystem, while uncovering new opportunities and collaborating with sales teams to drive adoption. This role combines deep AI expertise with strategic customer engagement to deliver impactful outcomes.In line with our Flexible Work approach, for roles at Microsoft Germany and Austria, we recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site. The actual number of days to work from the office or at the customer will be defined in agreement between the employee and their manager.ResponsibilitiesStorytelling: Clearly communicate and document Modern Work and Copilot’s impact. Demo product benefits and explain how solutions achieve measurable business outcomes. Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor and consultative seller. Develop expert AI skills, identify and demo new opportunities, and collaborate with the SE team to drive value. Strategy: Provide technical input to shape account strategy. Share competitive insights, escalate challenges, and operate with a sales and outcome-driven mindset. Solution Design: Win technical decisions by understanding customer needs, differentiating Microsoft solutions, and quantifying business impact. Lead whiteboarding and envisioning sessions to secure wins and resolve blockers. Domain Expertise: Demonstrate Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agents, and Extensions in architectural design, proof of concept, and solution envisioning sessions. Apply architecture patterns and consultative selling to address customer challenges and deliver tailored AI business solutions. Partner Engagement: Collaborate with partners in technical engagements and sell-with scenarios. Co-create solutions to maximize business value. Joint Development: Work across engineering and sales teams to deliver innovative business solutions and accelerate AI adoption. QualificationsMinimum Requirement:Proven technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience  OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND solid technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience  OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.Preferred QualificationsCollaborative: Works cohesively with customers, the Microsoft account team, and Microsoft partners. Helps others succeed by identifying and promoting innovative solutions and strategies.Excellent Communicator: Demonstrates executive presence, presentation skills, deep technical product demo abilities, written and verbal communication skills.Relationship Building: Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects. The ability to influence and build relationships across technical and business teams.Ability to drive and influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries through organizational, presentation, envisioning, writing, and verbal communication skills.
