About the jobTo strengthen our company portfolio, our Corporate Development team is looking for a highly motivated Corporate Business Developer to map acquisitive growth opportunities in Benelux Region.As a Corporate developer you will identify B2B software prospects in the Benelux market. You will research about the companies and understand about their product portfolio and future roadmap. Once identified those interesting companies, you will have the opportunity of creating experienced entrepreneurs. Building a long lasting relationship to further understand when the moment is right to, together with management, start an acquisitive growth process with the company. You will contribute in the pre-acquisition business activities in order to grow our company portfolio in Benelux.You will be going 3 times a week to our offices either in Netherlands or Belgium for the first 6-12 months. The role is partially home based and you are part of a broader international M&A team. After that time and based on performance more remote work is possible.Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in Dutch, French and English language. You feel comfortable conversing with C-level executives and experienced entrepreneurs. You are entrepreneurial and proactive in your mindset, yet also methodological and driven in your approach.The jobGrow our M&A prospect database in BeneluxInitiate outbound prospecting (phone and video) calls, email and social media.Use Marketing and CRM data to build relationships with key-stakeholders and maintain them.Follow up on outbound and inbound M&A prospect activities in a timely manner.Conduct first line interactions with companies (primarily by telephone and face to face), in order to qualify potential targets.Document meetings/ interactions in form of notes, interactions and administer efforts in Salesforce (our CRM system).QualificationsIndependent & proactive worker, who can also work in a team.Commercial skills and sales affinity, ability to establish contact with senior executives at M&A target companies who are unfamiliar with our company.Ability to work on targets and eagerness to learn.Able to write professional e-mails in Dutch and French and has good telephone skills. English language is a plus.Experienced in (online) research.RequirementsBachelor or Master degree preferably but not mandatory in Business Administration, Economics/Accounting, Sales, Commercial Sciences, or Marketing Management.1-2 years of experience in comercial or sales roles.Native in Dutch & professional in English language.
