You will develop and maintain a comprehensive system of accounting policies and procedures, implementing robust controls to minimize risks associated with accounting transactions. Overseeing the accurate production of monthly financial statements, including the trial balance, balance sheet, statement of cash flow, and profit and loss statements, will be key as you manage our two distinct business units—engine development and job shop machining operations. You will assess organizational performance against the annual budget and strategic objectives, collaborating with department heads to review budgetary trends and ensure transactions are allocated correctly. Your expertise will also guide compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory requirements, while maintaining accurate asset lists and inventory practices.Ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and coordinating audit activities will be essential functions of your role, along with handling other related responsibilities as assigned.Does this sound like you?To thrive as our Corporate Controller, candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with an MBA or CPA preferred, alongside at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing finance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing diverse finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting.
