Corporate Development at Fintonia GroupFintonia Group is a Singapore licensed asset manager, with a growing presence in Kuala Lumpur, combining a strong background in traditional finance with disruptive technology.You will be joining a fun and fast-paced environment and will be working with a small team of seasoned industry professionals with experience working at top tier global investment banks and industry leaders.Fintonia Group has launched the first Bitcoin tracker fund managed by a Monetary Authority of Singapore licensed fund manager, and has also obtained a provisional license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.We are seeking a driven and experienced Corporate Development Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur and work directly with an experienced Founder & CEO. This hands-on role is ideal for someone eager to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, contribute to the rapidly growing digital asset market, and make a significant impact. You use data and analysis to make decisions and recommendations, are a self-starter and have credibility with senior leaders and peers. You will have the opportunity to directly influence business growth and become a leader in a fast-evolving asset class.The Role:Your responsibilities will include:1. Corporate Finance Initiatives:Identify and engage potential investors to support the company's growth objectives.Develop compelling investment materials and presentations.Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors.2. Partnerships and Corporate Development:Source and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities to enhance business expansion.Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that align with company goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement partnership initiatives.3. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):Identify and assess potential M&A targets that complement the company's strategic direction.Conduct financial analyses, valuations, and due diligence.Coordinate with legal and financial advisors to execute transactions.4. Special Projects:Lead cross-functional projects that are critical to the company's growth and not part of regular operations.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.Ensure timely and effective execution of special initiatives.Qualifications and ExperienceTo be a successful applicant, you are likely to meet the following criteria:Experience: 5 to 7 years in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development roles, preferably within top-tier global firms.Education:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification is advantageous.Skills:Exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities.Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial analysis tools.Attributes:Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.Mandarin language skills.
