Corporate Driver Job Description. We are hiring a corporate driver on behalf of our client, A security institute based in Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria. The driver will be responsible for transporting clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car. *Responsibilities* 1. Driving the boss daily to their desired destinations. 2. Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean. 3. Using navigation apps to determine the best route. 4. Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip. 5. Pick up your boss from the place and at the time they’ve requested. 6. Assist with loading and unloading their luggage. 7. Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions. 8. Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed 9. Answer questions about the area and local places of interest. 10. Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders. 11. Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues. 12. Book car wash and detailing services to maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the car. Qualifications and requirements. 1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 2. Ability to handle both manual and automatic vehicles. 3. Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and reliability. 4. Punctual, responsible and trustworthy. 5. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. 6. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. 7. At least 5years experience as a driver. 8. Close proximity to the location is paramount.
