Equally important to our mission is our AI-based energy trading in the European market, which works hand in hand with our battery storage solutions.Our TeamThe Corporate Finance team structures and executes Terra One’s financing and capital-raising activities across project finance, project-level M&A and equity. We partner with Development, EPC, Trading, and Legal to turn projects into bankable assets and scale our platform across Europe.Career OpportunityYou’ll join a dynamic, hands-on team working on live transactions and help build the Corporate Finance functions – models, tools, templates, and reporting – so we can execute at scale. Join us and help shape the future of energy.Your TasksModel development: Build and enhance financial models (cash flows, valuations, sensitivities) for project-level and corporate transactions.Transaction support: Contribute to project financing processes and project-level M&A – data rooms, DD trackers, documents, checklist and closing packs.Investor materials: Prepare teasers/pitch decks, investment memos, and periodic reporting for investors, banks, and board.Research & benchmarks: Conduct research on market trends, peers, and transaction benchmarks in the battery storage sector.Cross-functional data: Coordinate with Accounting, Development, and EPC to collect inputs (budgets, grid/EPC quotes, schedules) and reconcile model vs. actuals.What We Expect From YouYou are excellent at financial modelling, careful with details, and can explain assumptions clearly.You are process-minded and enjoy building templates, checklists, and dashboards that others can reuse.You communicate clearly and succinctly, ask focused questions, and meet deadlines.You are curious, proactive, and collaborative, comfortable working with technical and commercial teams.QualificationsExperience: At least one relevant internship in M&A, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Infrastructure/PE with hands-on modelling.Technical: Strong Excel/Google Sheets (build from scratch, scenarios/sensitivities, QA checks) and PowerPoint; familiarity with data rooms is a plus.Exposure: Demonstrated exposure to M&A and fundraising workflows and interest in infrastructure/energy; BESS/renewables a plus.Language: Fluent English; working German preferred (strong plus for document review or counterparty interactions).Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s (ongoing or completed) in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field.What We OfferA role with real responsibility and high learning opportunitiesInsight into a growing climate tech companyA modern office with a rooftop terrace and in-house cookFree snacks & drinksA friendly, international team working toward a meaningful missionFlexible remote work possibilitiesProfessional development supportGym membership benefitsDeutschland TicketDiversity & InclusionAt Terra One, we believe that different perspectives drive better solutions.
