LGG Advisors is a global consulting firm with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid, delivering high-value, strategic advisory services to leading companies worldwide.Our Finance & Strategy team specializes in tailored solutions to address our clients’ complex and evolving needs—offering strategic insight and hands-on support across M&A transactions, due diligence, capital raisings, private placements, and corporate strategy.As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire an Associate to provide direct support to a Project Manager and coordinate a team of Analysts, contributing to the firm’s expanding business.DescriptionJoin LGG Advisors’ growing Finance & Strategy team, with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid.Support high-impact consulting projects in areas such as M&A, Due Diligence, Capital Raising, Private Placements, and Corporate Strategy.Work closely with the Project Manager and coordinate the efforts of Analysts/Senior Analysts on various client projects.Engage in complex, fast-paced environments with strong learning and development opportunities.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct support to the Project Manager on ad hoc client-related projects.Coordinate and oversee the work of a team of Analysts/Senior Analysts.Provide ongoing training and mentorship to Analysts/Senior Analysts.Manage daily communication and troubleshooting with high-profile clients (primary liaison).Handle day-to-day correspondence with clients and their representatives.Generate client-facing presentations, pitch-books, data analysis, and financial modelling.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of professional experience in the Financial Services Industry, with strong expertise in Corporate Finance and M&A, ideally from a Big 4 Consultancy firm, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.Fluency in English at a proficient level (previous full-time education taught in English or work experience in an English-speaking environment is a plus).Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (Finance, Business, Economics, or similar).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Strong interest in the financial services industry with a solid understanding of current market trends.Advanced technical and analytical skills in Corporate Finance.Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Effective time management and the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a proactive problem-solving approach.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.A flexible working approach and a willingness to adapt as needed.What We OfferFast-growing company with a presence in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid, working on complex and intellectually stimulating projects for sophisticated clients in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.Competitive salary and performance-based benefits.Hybrid work model with the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time.Career Development Plan tailored to your professional goals.Access to internal and external Training Programs.Possibility of Sponsorship for certifications or advanced education.At LGG Advisors, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
