Job Title: Corporate Governance Intern (6-Month Internship)Location: JaffnaDepartment: Corporate Governance / ComplianceDuration: 6 Months (Paid Internship)Stipend: LKR 20,000/monthPotential Full-Time Salary: Up to LKR 100,000/monthConversion Opportunity: High intent to convert to full-time based on performanceReporting To: Compliance Manager / Head of GovernanceRole SummaryJoin Teceze’s Corporate Governance team to gain practical exposure to compliance, policy management, and ethical business operations. You’ll assist in reviewing internal processes, maintaining governance documentation, and supporting compliance audits — ensuring that company practices align with regulatory and corporate standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation and monitoring of corporate governance policies.Assist in compliance checks and internal audits to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.Maintain and update governance documentation, registers, and reports.Help coordinate board meetings, agendas, and minutes preparation.Research regulatory updates and governance best practices.Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Finance teams to ensure policy alignment across departments.Support risk assessment activities and documentation for internal reviews.What You’ll LearnPractical understanding of corporate governance frameworks and compliance systems.How to conduct policy reviews, risk assessments, and internal control monitoring.Exposure to legal and ethical governance standards in an international IT environment.Reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.The role of governance in maintaining organizational transparency and accountability.QualificationsFinal-year student or recent graduate in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or Corporate Governance.Strong analytical and research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.High attention to detail and confidentiality.Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace.Prior internship or coursework in corporate law, compliance, or auditing is an advantage.Tools You’ll UseDocumentation & Reporting: Google Workspace, MS Office, NotionCompliance Tools: Zoho People, Internal Audit Software, Policy TrackersCommunication: Slack, Microsoft Teams
