Corporate Lawyer EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-timeINDUSTRY: Legal Service Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of an award-winning boutique law firm with a strong international practice, is seeking to recruit an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join its Transactional Team in Nicosia. The selected candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of cross-border corporate and commercial matters and will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with high-calibre clients and legal professionals in a supportive and growth-focused environment. Main ResponsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents, ensuring legal precision and alignment with commercial objectivesDealing with finance/banking international transactions on the lender or borrower side and issuing legal opinionsAdvising clients on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, company formation, and governance mattersConducting due diligence and providing clear, commercially focused legal recommendationsEnsuring compliance with Cyprus corporate law, regulations, and other relevant legislative frameworksApplying and interpreting Cyprus and international business law in client-related mattersIdentifying legal risks, mitigating potential liabilities, and conducting research on complex legal issuesMonitoring and staying informed on legal and regulatory developments affecting corporate and commercial practice RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Law; LL.M and/or LPC will be considered an advantageAt least 5 years of professional experience, with strong knowledge of Companies Law and Contract LawProven ability to draft high-quality legal documents with meticulous attention to detailStrong integrity, sound judgment, and respect for confidentialityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, managing multiple matters simultaneouslyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient computer literacy, including advanced use of Microsoft OfficeExcellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken RemunerationA competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including:Annual Gross Salary: €40,000 – €60,000 (payable in 13 instalments), with the higher range applicable to candidates with 8–10 years of experience Discretionary annual bonus, based on individual and company performanceOpportunity to travel if desired Opportunities for professional development, career progression, and continuous learningA supportive, professional, and collaborative working environmentApplications:All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
