Corporate Operations Manager (HR, Finance, Legal, Admin)We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Corporate Operations Manager to run day-to-day operations and build scalable systems across HR, finance, legal, and general administration. You’ll work closely with the founders and external partners in Japan and globally, supporting the company through its Series A and upcoming expansion.What You’ll DoCorporate & Administrative OperationsManage daily general affairs, HR coordination, and internal workflows.Maintain relationships with accounting, legal, tax, and HR vendors.Oversee filings, payroll, compliance, and documentation.Finance & ReportingSupport budgeting, reporting, and expense tracking.Coordinate monthly closings and payment schedules with accountants.Assist with investor reporting and audit preparation.HR & People OpsManage contracts, onboarding, and offboarding.Coordinate payroll, benefits, and labor/social insurance.Support recruitment logistics and maintain employee records.Legal & ComplianceDraft and manage NDAs, vendor agreements, and contracts.Ensure compliance with labor and data regulations in Japan and abroad.Liaise with legal counsel on corporate matters.Operational ImprovementStreamline processes using tools like Notion, Slack, and automation.Build scalable policies, templates, and internal systems.Prepare documentation for Series A due diligence and audits.RequirementsMust-Have5+ years in corporate admin, HR, finance, or operations.Experience in startups or lean organizations.Strong Japanese (fluent/native) and English (business).Solid organizational skills; familiarity with accounting, labor, and legal basics.Comfortable with digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack).Culture FitReliable, hands-on, and execution-driven.Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.Values transparency and practical problem-solving.PreferredExperience in startup or global tech admin/finance roles.Knowledge of Japanese labor law, tax, and compliance.Familiarity with audits or ISO processes.Interest in growing into a Head of Corporate/Operations role.
