We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our Corporate team in Dubai.About The TeamThis is an opportunity to join a dynamic and growing corporate team that advises some of the largest and most innovative companies in the World on their transactions across the Middle East. The role will be based in Dubai, but will give the candidate exposure to direct client engagement, cross-border transactional work and work as part of a regional team of CMS corporate lawyers based in our offices across the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.About YouKey responsibilities:Supporting CMS UAE partners and associates on the delivery of corporate projects for key client accounts across the UAE, including incorporations, restructurings, share transfers, licence renewals and updates, manager changes and related matters. Supporting on domestic and international M&A transactions, joint ventures, structuring projects and FDI matters, including due diligence, project management, deal execution formalities (share transfers, director changes etc), drafting of resolutions, POAs etc and managing transaction completion formalities.Support the wider CMS UAE teams on a wide range of regulatory and advisory matters relating to UAE law.Supporting international CMS Offices in relation to cross-border matters involving UAE law or companies based within the UAE.Supporting the wider CMS Middle East team on projects across the region.Essential Qualifications/skills/competenciesLegal qualification (LLB, Degree etc)Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English language skills.Minimum 1.5years experience of similar work based in the UAE.Experience of working with most of the key authorities and notaries in the UAE.Proven ability to manage multiple projects / workstreams and work as part of a wider team.Familiarity with Mainland and UAE Free Zone regulations and company formation processes in these jurisdictions.Desirable Qualifications/skills/experienceExperience of working in an international law firm based in the UAE.What’s in it for you?As a future facing firm, we take a bold, dynamic and agile approach to help clients of every size face the future with confidence.
