Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations: Be able to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences, provide competitors' reviews, and find the pros and cons of their products. Experience in creation of wireframes and prototypes to visualize and understand possible corner cases before design implementation. Be able to use and maintain already created design guidelines. Designing visual elements, including typography, color schemes, icons, and images, to create an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive user interface using the must-have tools mentioned earlier. Defining how users interact with a product through the design of interactive elements such as buttons, forms, menus, etc.
, understand the difference among different UI elements and their states. Create scalable designs that provide a consistent user experience across different screen or window sizes and proportions, using responsive design principles. Be able to estimate a task and meet the estimates provided, managing time effectively to ensure project deadlines are met. Collaborate with other team members, including developers, product managers, QAs, and designers. Be able to take on work that has already begun but isn't finished. Be attentive to detail to ensure the design is polished and bug-free, with consistent spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy. Essential Skills and Experience:
The candidate must have at least 3 years of professional experience in UI design for customer facing applications and consumer software solutions. Must have requirements and tools: Strong skills in Figma; Ability to support big projects, and create dynamic prototypes;Knowledge of UI/UX for Windows and Mac desktop, or Web apps. Ideal candidate additional requirements: Motion design skills, UI animation;Illustration skills;Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (raster image editing, image formats, and image retouching);At least one desktop application in the portfolio.
