Cost Accountant

📢 We’re Hiring – 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Obour - Cairo𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: The Cost Accountant at Zain Roastery will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing costs associated with our food and beverage production processes. This position involves developing cost standards, analyzing variances, and providing insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making, ultimately contributing to the company’s financial health and operational efficiency. 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 & 𝘿𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨:- Analyze production costs and variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.- Prepare and maintain cost records and reports for various departments.- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and other departments to collect necessary data.- Develop and monitor standard costs for products and services.- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts based on cost analysis.- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations relevant to the industry.𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost accounting or relevant financial analysis roles.- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo) Preferred.- Strong understanding of costing methods and inventory valuation.- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
