The positionThe Cost & Budget Manager role is a position that drives cost efficiency on a global scale by analysing financial data and implementing cost control measures. It requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster decision-making and optimize global spend. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating value through financial insight within Clinical Development Operations.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesCalculation of budgets for clinical studies in close collaboration with international clinical study teams, including controlling support for operational excellenceProcessing payments in compliance with internal processes and guidelines, including contract reviewContinuous monitoring of cost development to ensure transparency and clear financial oversightCross-functional collaboration to align financial practices with organizational objectivesCalculation of provisions in close coordination with internal and external stakeholdersRequirementsDegree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience in Finance/Controlling/AccountingSkilled in MS Office 365; PowerBI is a plusStrong numerical skills, structured and proactive working style, with attention to detail and accountabilityExcellent communication skills across diverse stakeholder groupsFluent in Business English, German beneficialPlease note that employment takes place via one of our external partners.
