Cost Controller - F&B

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical F&B Cost Controller to oversee and manage all aspects of food and beverage cost control across our operations. As the key "watchdog" of the F&B department, you will ensure accurate inventory management, cost monitoring, and compliance with company policies, while supporting profitability and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Finance, Procurement, and F&B teams to achieve budget targets and maintain quality standards.ResponsibilitiesYou'll lead Menu Engineering Meetings with the F&B team, dive into Cost of Sales analysis, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports that help boost the bottom lineMonitor and control F&B costs in line with budget targetsAnalyze daily, weekly, and monthly cost of sales and variance reports.Investigate and resolve discrepancies, wastage, and inefficienciesOversee physical stock counts and ensure accurate reconciliation between POS, stock control, and accounting systemsMaintain accurate recipe costing, item pricing, and system master dataCollaborate with Procurement to source cost-effective, high-quality productsMonitor supplier pricing and negotiate fixed-term contracts where applicableSubmit accurate and timely month-end reports to the Financial Controller / F&B DirectorEnsure compliance with company procedures, audit standards, and local regulationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Hospitality ManagementProven 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Controller within hospitality industryStrong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent knowledge of F&B operational processesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departmentsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentAbility to identify cost-saving opportunitiesAbility to translate complex data into actionable insightsTechnical Skills: Materials Control (MC System) - Essential Micros POS (Oracle Hospitality) - Essential Advanced MS Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) - Essential Sun System / Vision - Preferred Future Log - Preferred Netsuite (Oracle) - PreferredLanguages: English (Required) Arabic (Plus)BenefitsAt SIHAMCO, we believe in rewarding our team with more than just a job — we offer an inspiring work environment and real opportunities for growth.
