Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionYou will be part of an international, distributed team of lawyers with various backgrounds and expertise where English is used for both verbal and written communication. The team consists of smart, positive people who always strive to deliver first-class legal support. Together with the other lawyers you will contribute to the development of Tink/Visa Open Banking’s (VOB) legal and regulatory function. You will be able to contribute to VOB reaching its goals, by supporting VOB’s product and commercial organisation with proactive and innovative legal advice. As part of our team, you will have a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of business, technology and regulation, and shape the development of new financial technologies. As a Legal Counsel you are part of our legal team reporting to the VP Legal Open Banking, and will also work closely with the commercial, product and engineering teams. You may also work with our second-line compliance and risk control functions. You will also get the opportunity to work with our Visa colleagues located all over the world. Areas of responsibility: Legal focus areas will include commercial contracts and regulatory frameworks, primarily within payment services, data privacy, anti-money laundering, consumer protection, and marketing. Responsibilities may include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various customer and supplier contracts, with focus on so-called PaaS/SaaS; Supporting product development with legal advice; Supporting the organisation with drafting and reviewing various other legal agreements, and corporate and regulatory documents and filings; Providing practical legal advice and training to your colleagues; Supporting the development and maintenance of VOB’s corporate and regulatory compliance programs; Continuously developing and improving internal legal operations and processes; Monitoring legal and regulatory trends and analysing their impact on VOB as well as our customers. QualificationsBasic Qualifications: Swedish-qualified lawyerMaster of Laws (MLL) from a reputable university or law schoolFive years of relevant experience as in-house legal counsel and/or from a reputable law firmExcellent commercial contracts expertise, preferably within PaaS/SaaSStrong business-orientation and ability to provide practical and actionable advice in a clear and friendly way Excellent communication skills and a cooperative mindset aimed at adding value to the business will be very importantProficiency in written and spoken English (other major European languages would be considered a plus)Experience from tech and PaaS/SaaS providers is meritingAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
