Job DescriptionYour responsibilities include, but not limited to:Lead, manage and develop the overall performance of the Commercial Organization, collaborating with global and cluster/regional leaders to set strategy for current and future product portfolio, delivering sales and profits within agreed budgets, and providing effective leadership of its business divisions, functional groups, and support teams Communicate clear business vision and strategy (based on global vision/strategy) and ensure that these are reflected in a focused, lean, and responsive organization Provide a strong and consistent voice in global and cluster/regional Sandoz/Sandoz forums, of which he/she is an active member. Participate actively in global and cluster/regional forums, providing inputs on the local needs into global and cluster/regional strategic decisions, and gathering best practices for use by functions. Balance and prioritize needs of local, cluster, regional and global businesses in the implementation of country commercial strategy and operational plans. Develop the organization's product pipeline and portfolio and maximize success of key launches through effective leadership across the functions, building future capabilities, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration and optimal management of resources.Proactively shape the country market environment, defend and improve market position and depth of market access by developing strong, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders (especially regulators, pharma and healthcare associations, patient groups, customers, media, key accounts and KOLs) Represent the country organization at the cluster/regional and/or global forums build strong partnerships among peers in other units, ensuring strategic and operational alignment across Sandoz Act as head and public face of the country commercial organization, ensuring legal and ethical conduct, corporate compliance, and adherence to company guidelines and procedures Oversee in-country joint ventures, in-licensing agreements, and other business relationships that impact long-term company results Strengthen the local organization by developing an excellence-oriented and customer focused culture, fostering innovation, and building best-in-class teams that fully exploit all market opportunities, and internal systems, programs, and tools.Drive top-level talent acquisition, succession planning and development of all associates within the organization. Drive and foster a culture underpinned by Sandoz Values, lead by example while being self-aware and creating a culture of feedback. Key interfaces include: all functional Heads (Medical, Finance, P&O, Legal & ERC), BU Heads, Cluster Head, Region Head; Cluster/Region functional heads; Global BU Heads; other Country Heads; TechOps, Country Pharma and healthcare associations.Key teams include: Country Leadership Team, Cluster II Leadership Team.Ensure alignment and create a common cross-divisional platform for successful country collaboration within Sandoz. Foster strong collaboration between all divisions and ensure alignment in external stakeholder agenda, policies and compliance approaches while optimizing business synergies for the Sandoz Group in the country.Maintain and further build Sandoz’ reputation for integrity, shape the political and legislative environment, maximize Sandoz business opportunities by building and maintaining industry leading external relations, communications and driving collaborative opportunities and initiatives.ExperienceWhat you’ll bring to the role:Proven track-record of P&L responsibilityExtensive experience in executive positions within the pharmaceutical industryProven sales and marketing management abilityExtremely well-developed ability to understand country regulatory and market environmentsStrong relationships with KOLs in regulatory bodies, customers, and/or mediaProven understanding of product launch and product commercialization processesSignificant leadership experience, and proven ability to manage a team and motivate associates of widely varying backgrounds across a dispersed and matrixed organizationProven ability and experience of risk managementStrong results orientation, and willingness to have extensive involvement in organisational day-to-day operationsExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsExcellent persuasive and influencing skillsEducation University degree, advanced degree such as MBA or PhD desiredLanguages Russian: fluent is a must English: fluent is a must
