We are proud to be the preferred logistics partner of the life science industry and healthcare professionals for more than 4,000 companies worldwide.JOB TITLE: Country Manager - Australia Overall MissionAs the right hand to the VP APAC Operations, the Country Manager – Australia will drive the strategic growth, profitability, and operational excellence of CRYOPDP across the Australian region. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver the company’s 2030 business plan, ensuring sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, compliance, and the consistent embodiment of CRYOPDP’s values and culture.Main ContributionKey Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Financial AccountabilityLead the execution of the Australian market strategy, ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives.Design and evolve the local organizational structure to enable scalable, sustainable growth.Own full P&L accountability for the Australian business, driving:EBITDA performanceCost optimization and financial disciplineInvestment planning and ROIKPI tracking, forecasting, and reportingLead and mentor the local and regional Finance teams to ensure financial transparency, accuracy, and compliance. Business Development & Sales LeadershipIdentify and capture new business opportunities while expanding the existing customer base.Oversee and develop the National Sales Manager, fostering a high-performing, results-driven sales team.Support business development initiatives, including tenders, client proposals, and local/international projects.Drive customer acquisition strategies, develop new service offerings, and establish strategic partnerships to grow market share. Operational ExcellenceEnsure efficient, high-quality service delivery and cost control across all Australian branches.Deliver financial performance in line with or exceeding budget expectations.Monitor and manage key operational metrics (KPIs) to uphold service standards and profitability.Optimize both fixed and variable costs through supplier negotiations and continuous process improvement.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and business continuity.Collaborate with global CRYOPDP offices to meet project and delivery requirements. Fluent in English (mandatory); additional language proficiency is an advantage.LanguageFluent in EnglishOther foreign languages are a plusSpecific Experience & Knowledge RequiredStrong financial acumen: P&L management, budgeting, forecasting.Excellent commercial skills — customer management and margin optimization.Proficient in project management and quality assurance methodologies.Deep understanding of international logistics, particularly airfreight.Experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Clinical Trials Logistics (highly desirable).Knowledge of GDP and GMP standards.Interpersonal skills ("Essential")Strong leadership, people management, and team development capabilities.Exceptional organizational, communication, and influencing skills.Results-driven and able to motivate teams toward ambitious goals.Comfortable operating within a complex, matrixed international environment.Innovative, proactive, and solutions-oriented.Collaborative team player with an open, growth-oriented mindset.
